ABOUT US

Nextilon Leadership partners with organizations to cultivate purpose-driven, emotionally intelligent leadership

Our Approach

Our approach is built on two powerful, research-based models:

• Intentional Change Theory (Dr. Richard Boyatzis)
• Immunity to Change (Dr. Robert Kegan & Dr. Lisa Lahey)

Intentional Change Theory helps leaders articulate their ideal selves, uncover what truly drives them, and reflect on the gap between that vision and their current reality. With coaching and peer support, they begin meaningful steps toward sustainable growth—fueled by clarity, values, and emotional intelligence.

(Boyatzis, 2008)

Immunity to Change reveals the internal roadblocks that often sabotage our best intentions. Through structured reflection, leaders identify hidden assumptions and patterns that keep them stuck—and begin unlearning them in service of sustained change.

Together, these frameworks guide our leaders from insight to action—not through pressure, but through purpose. They identify meaningful leadership goals, design small intentional experiments, and bring them to life through ongoing coaching, reflection, and support.

Who We Work With

We work with leaders navigating complexity, transition, and meaningful growth. Some are stepping into new roles. Others are reimagining how they lead. All are seeking greater clarity, authenticity, and impact.

Our experience spans higher education, healthcare, corporate leadership, and professional well-being. We've supported faculty, administrators, physicians, executives, and cross-functional teams across a wide range of organizations.

Our group coaching at the University of Pittsburgh has been a cornerstone of this work—providing a rich foundation that we now offer to other sectors and institutions. What unites the leaders we work with is a desire to lead with purpose. Our approach honors the whole person and the unique context they lead within—offering space for reflection, experimentation, and sustained transformation.
